Femphasis is a brand new fetish night, dedicated to creating a comfortable space for queer, femme identified humans, of all genders and anybody those queer femmes would like to bring along with them! It’s a chance for queer femmes to socialise, connect, and explore their kinks; whatever their role!

WHAT IS A QUEER FEMME, I hear you ask?

Well, queer can represent anyone who identifies as anything under the ‘queer’ umbrella (intersex, lesbian, transgender, gender neutral, gender fluid, non-binary, bisexual, asexual, gay, pansexual, demisexual and a whole host of others) or, to put it simply: anyone who isn’t ENTIRELY on the straight and narrow. ‘Queer’ can range from a personal identity to a political one.

Femme is an identity that is distinct and separate from binary labels of ‘male’ and ‘female’. It isn’t necessarily connected to gender identity or gender presentation, though many femmes do express themselves through presenting in ‘traditionally’ feminine ways or adopting ‘traditionally’ feminine qualities or behaviours. That being said, femme identity can be entirely internal, possibly having no outward showings. Femme covers a huge range of expression, physicality and feeling. Femme basically covers anything and everything on the feminine side of neutral – and that’s a big range!
